Subject: How do I unhighlight a thread?

I have, on occasion, entered a thread that I really wasn't interested in reading. From that point onward the thread is always highlighted. I find this distracting when I am looking in the fora for the threads that I am interested in reading. Is there any way to revert the titles back to their original shading?

I think clearing your cache should work.
It's recognizing that you clicked the link already, and so that's why it's highlighting.
I'm not a computer expert, though, so take my words with a grain of salt.

I'm not an expert in any way. I have cleared my history on my computer a number of times and the threads remain highlighted. I don't know if I could, or even should, clear my browsing history for this site. I would think that if I did I would lose all of my threads and not just the ones I'm not interested in.

Not your history, your cache.
I'd google both how to do that, and whether or not you should. Again-not a computer expert.

Clearing your cache will do the trick. To not loose things you are interested in click on Thread Tools when you are logged in, under the drop down menu are "My subscribed threads" (threads you have posted in or clicked subscribe too) and "My viewed threads" (which does what it says) that way you can still keep track of what you have read.
