Been a long time since I’ve played an actual game. Looking to get back at it with 9th and would like a bit of help overlooking these lists. Objectives and secondaries seem to be key in this edition and I have attempted to design a list to capitalize on that by grabbing objectives quickly while being annoyingly durable. Scarabs will grab and camp and tomb blades can quickly capture even distant points while the spyder core crawls up the middle posing a substantial melee threat backed by doom stalkers. Because of my speed and objective control design specific, I’m shooting for Treasures of Aeons and Ancient Machineries as two secondaries. I believe this will impact and direct my opponents deployment and logistic behaviors. The third will likely be mission specific. I feel my list lacks a bit of anti-vehicular firepower. However, I hope the spyder core can make up for it. Please, let me know your thoughts

So a couple things, the hyperlogical strategist WL trait is only unlocked if you're running a Sautekh detachment. You have to pick from the six basic traits if you're running a custom dynasty.
I also highly recommend putting a failsafe overcharger on one of the technomancers, getting D3 extra attacks on one of the spyder units can be pretty big.
Although the doomstalkers are really cool, they're not the best competitive choice unfortunately. Having D6 shots and D6 damage makes them pretty inconsistent in terms of their damage output. If you're not looking to be hyper competitive though then keep them in bro because they're awesome models.
Finally I would consider putting a chronomsmcer in there too. Even though a squad of 9 scarabs is 36 wounds, they're still pretty squishy. Slap a 5++ on them from a chronomancer and they just become obnoxious. This will certainly help if you're planning to use them to hold objectives

I’ve put some thought into it; what do you think of this? It’s a bit different than them original but with more monstrous creatures.

I would replace one chronomancer with an overlord, giving you access to command protocols. Also give your technomancer thrall of the silent king, to increase the control node aura to 9". What dynasty ? I would suggest a custom dynasty, relentless expansionists and rad-wreathed or eternal conquerors.

Looks like it could be good fun! What's your plan? At a glance I reckon you'll miss having the cryptothralls as action monkeys, especially on the missions with 6 objectives.
IMO the gauss destructor is the better load out for the LHDs too if you want that backfield anti tank role in there. You've actually got decent horde clearing between the scarabs and particle beamers, especially if you keep a couple exterminators on the LHDs, rather than 6.
Let us know if you get any games in anyways dude, always good to keep an eye on how the rival dynasties are doing

The idea is to death ball up the middle with the Spyders and contest everything. The scarabs will grab objectives and screen as necessary. The Destroyers camp in the rear objectives and blow things up. Chronos buff whatever’s needs buffing with 5++, The Techno gives the Spyders +1 to hit. It also helps that the Spyders can continually bolster the scarab squads. I have enough units that I should be able to keep deep strikers out of my back field, at least initially.
Secondaries are:
Engage on All Fronts
The Treasures of Aeons
Ancient Machineries
Between RE and having several PITA units, I should have solid control early on of most objectives. I may be able to capitalize on points in the first few turns before everything gets blown off or is stuck in combat.
Not sure if dropping Night Bringer is a great thing, though I do like the look of this list. It’s thematic to me. I was able to pack more scarabs and Spyders in for it.
