For an upcoming game against Necron, I'd like some advises about the list in general and in particular if it may work against those souless machines.
I thought that shoota boys go in the trukk, Kommandos infiltrate and tankbusta tellyporta into the fight.

The problem is, 12 shootas isn't going to do much of anything against necrons. To do some quick mathhammer...

12 shootas are going to hit 8 times, with let's say 1 more hit due to dakka dakka and Deff Skullz rerolls, so 9 total hits. That's going to wound 4.5 times, let's say 5 times due to rerolls.That's 2.7 wounds that go through. After reanimation protocols, that equates to about 1-2 dead necrons.

I always say, if you're going to run shoota boyz, run them at the full 30 size and send them after squishier targets.

Also, you seem to be using a lot of killsaws. Don't underestimate big choppas. Big choppas are cheaper, don't have a to hit penalty, and are 2 damage. I would consider using a lot of these, getting rid of the 12 boy shoota squad, and subbing in something else to compensate. A good idea is upping your grot squad to 20 and including a runtherd. This will give your lootas (assuming you're using your grots to guard your lootas) more wounds, and the runtherd will keep your grots from fleeing.

Thanks! I looked into it and dropped Shoota and trukk, doubled Gret and put nobz with big and normal choppa each.
With the freed up points I maxed the Tankbustas for more booms ans then also added 2 Deffkoptas for backstabbing and harrassing
(those are also in because I own the models and dislike proxing).

Also changed Warpath for Maniacal Sezure, for durability and AP, plus I never tried the Deathskull power.

Oh deffcoptas are fantastic. Don't expect them to kill much, but they can snatch up objectives and just be generally annoying.
