Venomcrawler

Venomcrawler

So the general strategy is to pair up the venomcrawlers, greater possessed, and discolord to have a nice +1 to hit +1S bubble with that venomcrawlers. The chaos spawn are largely to run interference on anything that might try to charge them or tie them up in combat when I don't want to be in combat. Otherwise, they're fast objective grabbers. I've considered splitting the chaos spawn into two units of two just for more flexibility.

Meanwhile, the Apostle is going to hang around the las-havocs to give them a +1 to hit, with the two cultist units running around for deepstrike denial and objective grabbing. Depending on the army, one of the noise marines can also act as deepstrike deterrent, or to run and grab nearby objectives as well. The rhino is going to take the other noise marines wherever they may need to be.

The havocs and termies are there to do pretty much what they're designed to do- deepstrike in and deliver heavy firepower to specific weakened points the opponent has left open.

This list is technically two points over or so, but that can easily be abated by removing a havoc launcher from the rhino.

"The undead ogre believes the sack of pies is your parrot, and proceeds to eat them. The pies explode, and so does his head. The way is clear." - Me, DMing what was supposed to be a serious Pathfinder campaign.
