I was wondering if anyone plays any WW2 miniature games out here. I know GW takes a vast majority of the gamers out here. Just wondering if anyone plays games besides GW.

If you are talking Tacoma Washington than normally yes. there is a dedicated group of flames of war players that pre-covid played regularly at the game matrix. i am not sure when they are getting back up to speed though. I am sure that somebody at the store can get a hold of ed at let him know if your interested.

Myself i am a huge fan of DUST 1947 the "wierd war II" game. if you are not familiar with it. the game very much is a take on a 1950s comic book version of WWII with some alien inspired advanced tech. game rules wise it is like a cross between infinity, classic 40K and bolt action. the 3d terrain rules were written by Andy Chambers of GW fame. probably one of my favorite games in 28mm

I have 3 armies for demo games if you are interested.

If you are more into historicals i also play forces of valor "battletactics" a 1:32 scale WWII skirmish game that i also have a couple armies for.

Also if you want to go naval our group plays victory at sea (the original) using axis and allies collectable miniature ships etc...

Our active gaming group also plays a host of other games so if you want to know more, shoot me a PM or stop by the game matrix on saturdays after 3pm.
