I am hoping there are some old school collectors who might have some info on this...

I'm aware it was modelled for the Golden Demon awards in 1987, and that those first awards I believe were just this model painted and mounted on a base, but does anyone know if this was ever released in a limited way for any event? Or do I have a part of someones trophy?

Any info really appreciated!

Cant say as I have ever heard of this being released in anyway bar the prize.
Will move this post to the painting and modelling section so its get more eyeballs though.

Seen one of those before, my old housemate; who used to work for GW (and did when I lived with him) had one of these. Told me he pinched it when doing the golden demon judging in the mid 90s. Maybe that’s how this one found it’s way into circulation as well.
