If I take a super heavy detachment I can choose whatever chapter/legion it is derived from and use all of their strats including psychic awakening and faith and fury (appropriately), right? Regardless of whatever other detachments I take?

Specifically I am thinking about bringing my Kytan Daemon Engine as Iron Warriors and then a khorne daemon detachment plus a CSM force patrol.

I know MIXED detachments don't get access to faith and fury but since they are all seperate I think it's fine.

Can I use the daemon codex deepstrike strat to put my fw csm daemons into deepstrike?

Auxiliary Detachments (including the Super Heavy version) don't unlock Stratagems, I believe. They definitely don't get their subfaction traits, though that doesn't matter for CSM Vehicles.

A super heavy aux detachment (for 1 LOW) doesnt unlock legion specific stratagems, a super heavy detachment does, but you need 3 LOW. And, as JNAProduction already said, a super heavy aux detachment doesnt get detachment abilities, which doesnt matter for CSM vehicles.

No, due to Special Snowflake FAQ for the Daemons codex. They need to have the Faction Keyword "DAEMON". It should work, but for whatever reason Daemon and Tyranid stratagems are different because of reasons.

The Reason being GW botched the Keywords on Chaos Daemons and Hive Fleet Tryanids.

Possibly-check the 9th rulebook. It might have words on that.

It may not-I'm not 100% sure.

IIRC SHAD get no detachment traits but unlock stratagems unless otherwise specified by the stratagem unlock rule.
