I'm trying to write a backstory about a new space marine chapter I'm making based on the White Scars legion. After doing some reading about the Chondax Campaign which happened after the war against the Urlakk Urruk's empire and the Triumph of Ullanor in 000.M30, Horus sent the White Scars to the Chondax System to wipe out the rest of the Ork empire. Now from what I read from the Forgeworld Horus Heresy book Malevolence, the Chondax System was only a few warp-jumps away from Ullanor (This was stated on page 76) and the neighboring Angvor system, (On page 82) which I'm also not sure where that is...

Now in the story of the "War of the Beast" and in the Warhammer 40k lore, Ullanor Prime is later renamed Armageddon. Which lies in the upper right of the Solar Segmentum, close to Fenris. But they also mention that inquisitor Veritus visits the last bastion of the Sisters of Silence upon the world of Nadiries which is located in the far reaches of the Segmentum Pacificus. This leads me to believe that the far reaches of the Segmentum Pacificus is only a few Warp-jumps way from Ullanor.

So with all this in mind, I believe that the Chondax and Angvor system could be in three areas. First, somewhere in far reaches of the Segmentum Pacificus. Second, possibly in the Gothic Sector within the Segmentum Obscurus, and third, somewhere in the upper region of the Segmemtum Solar.

Again any assistance/theories would be extremely helpful and appreciated!

Actually, Armageddon's location will tell you nothing, because the planet was teleported. All it will tell you that Ullanor most definitely was NOT where Armageddon currently is. Better lead would be location of Beta Garmon, because Horus made it his staging point after he conquered the system.

With that point, I can't remember in the book if they mention which Segmentum they teleported the planet from. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think they mention it...

So with that said Irbis, which Segmentum do you think they teleported Ullanor from? Pacificus or Obscurus? Or was it in the Segmentum Solar the whole time?
