Hi there, I'm long time player of WH40K, allllll the way back to 2nd edition (I have the battle bible still, in digital format and can distribute it if you PM me), where I started with ultramarines and have since made a customer army scheme (I'll post some pictures). I have since collected a sizable army of marines and inherited from a friend a small army of orks that I've been expanding.

Currently running a marine army based on the 9th edition ruleset, trying to update older models with newer weapons loadouts or at least make them look like they are similar to the newer troop types.

And is it just me or does GW seem to be favoring the higher wound count models now? Seems hard to field an army with everything being a specialist or an elite. I'm somewhat struggling to make sure I have relevant models in my armies (hence the updates). But overall, just glad that I'm still playing the game, and still playing the game with the same friends who I started playing it with in high school back in the mid 90's.

later, gators.
