Underslung M203s that can be mass fired in various rounds. Frag d6 S3 ap0 s1 attacks, Krak 1 AP2 D3 attacks, Airburst - krak with +1 to airborne, Anti-riot rounds - Assault d3 12" range S5, ap1 D1 that ups to assault d6 closer than 6".

I love the idea of bringing back shotguns into the game, they are so versatile and adaptable. Real missed opportunity by GW IMO.

Why would this go to Custodes? Wouldn’t Arbites make more sense?

Custodes use bolters attached to spears, not shotguns.

Custodes just need permanent superior fire patterns to fix their ranged output with their infantry.

The tanks could use either a points drop of about 15pts or so and have their twin heavy bolter upgraded to damage 2 like every other heavy bolter in the game.
Or even better, bump their points to 250 and let them double shoot if they only move 7".




We could do with more melee attacks or durability since there is no reason a space marine should be tougher than a custodes.
