While my true love will always be Wood Elves, there are only one or two lists that can be built for them in AoS at the moment, so while I'm waiting for that to change, I might as well focus on Sylvaneth. Here is my current collection of Sylvaneth models:

32x Dryads
3x Kurnoth Hunters w/ Bow
2x Branchwraiths
Durthu
Branchwych
Drycha Hamadreth
Awakened Wyldwood box

(I also have a dozen or so treekin, but I think those aren't used anymore? Plus another 16 dryads that would need to be rebased to be used as they are currently serving as linedryads for my Wood Elf Bloodbowl Team)

Is this a viable force? Where would you expand it from here? Any recommendations? Thus far my acquisitions have been guided solely by the principle of, "Oooh, that looks cool, I wanna paint it," so I have no idea if I've actually assembled a force that's worth anything.

It's viable in the sense that you could definitely play games with it. Depending on the environment/opponents it might even win a game.

As far as I understand Sylvaneth (admittedly poorly), you'd want more Kurnoth and the revenants can offer some things for you that dryads can't for battleline.

here's a good summary of the faction from a source I generally trust. It leans to the competitive side so if that's not what you're looking for you can take some things with a grain of salt (it may be listed as absolute garbage but sometimes that means it won't win tournaments, which is true of most things)

I'm on a podcast about (video) game design:

And I also make tabletop wargaming videos!
