Can you use Chaos Daemon stratagems on daemons from the Chaos Space Marine Codex? If so which stratagems and what makes those types of stratagems unique to the rule? I have a basic understanding of sharing auras, psychic powers, and loci but I am not 100% positive with stratagems.

Do Word Bearers Possessed unit cause 4 wounds with each attack with Revered Hosts stratagem and virulent blessing psychic power like Plague bearers do with their banner and virulent blessing in the Chaos Daemon faq? If the Possessed unit uses other buffs such as veterans of the long war stratagem are the 4 wounds triggered on a 5+?

From the Codex: Chaos Daemons FAQ v1.1:

Q: When a Stratagem from Codex: Chaos Daemons uses the DAEMON keyword, can it be used to affect any unit with the DAEMON keyword, or only units with the DAEMON Faction keyword?

A: These Stratagems can only affect units with the DAEMON Faction keyword.

This is unchanged from 8th edition.

Okay, I had to look in the Codex to understand the difference between keyword and faction keyword on battlescribe it is not as clear.

As you should, because the 40k dataset for Battlescribe is not the rules. All Faction keywords in the 40k dataset are prefixed with "Faction:" to make it clear which are which.

All of the Daemons in the CSM Codex have the DAEMON Faction keyword and cannot legally be taken in a "Chaos Space Marines" Detachment. They are just in the CSM Codex for summoning reference, hence why they are not in the Chaos Space Marines catalogue in the dataset.

Taking them in a CSM Detachment will disable all of the bonuses you get from having a "Chaos Space Marines" Detachment.
