I've just signed up to the forum today, but I'm a longtime wargame/hobby game player. I mainly played Firestorm Armada (back when it was still going), but I'll dabble in other systems when I make it out to GenCon. I was working on the Firestorm revised edition before Spartan Games went out of business. After the fall of Spartan, I kept making some revisions to that ruleset, but finally dropped it when Warcradle indicated they were going to put FSA on hold.

Since then, I've been working on my own space fleet warfare ruleset. It's called Quantum Rebellion. It features customizable ships, alternating activations, and is played on a free-form map. It had it's roots in Firestorm, although it's moved past that in the years since I've been working on it.
