Tonight I was given the oddest compliment yet in 30 years of doing this.

We were playing Warcry & we were using a bunch of stuff I've been building over the past week. I speed built 5 extra forces so that I'd have enough to teach multiple new people. Some of the stuff is so fresh out of the box I'm surprised the glue was even dry come game time.... So of course none of it has a lick of paint on it.

The one guy, looking at my pristine grey savage orcs (less than 24 hours old!) was quite impressed saying: "Wow, those look like they came out of the box assembled!"
We all looked at him: "???"
He went on to explain that he couldn't tell how they were assembled. That - other than the obvious divide of the black bases & grey feet - he couldn't see any seems. Or glue. Or gaps. Or even mold lines. That he couldn't tell wich parts had to be assembled.

Me: "Oh. Thanks, yeah that's the idea."
(I always clean up mold lines, remove any excess glue*, etc as part of assembly - I guess I've gotten really good at it....)
Spoiler:
* For the record, there IS some glue visible - I couldn't get it all along the fingers of my Big Stabba Teams lead orc where he grips the giant spear. And there's a tiny bit amongst both orcs toes.

Oh that's easy!

"For goodness sake put a sock in it!"

No, wait, I got the wrong end of the stick...

"What are those?"

"Those are genestealers..."

"They steal jeans?"

"Well those are better painted than your last army" The other army of mine they had seen was one I painted 10+ years before and never went back to change anything when I learned how to water down the paints.

or

Or many editions ago I was trying out imperial guard for the first time. The tyranid player was being a jerk about set up and deployment even moving my squad around. When I tried for the preliminary bombardment he argued that I had to fire at a Carnifex that was behind cover but closer by a half inch than fire at his out in the open Tyrant. We went with the Carnifex, which I missed, but it scattered perfectly on top of his tyrant. He failed both his Ward saves and the bombardment killed him with a max role. The player tried to then argue he was wrong about targeting, so it should have scattered from the Tyrant into an empty area, the other players around made him suck it up. His army fell apart after that. At the end he said I did alright with my army even though I cheated with shooting at his Carnifex who was behind cover .
