Instead, each model must be set up wholly within 12" of one other model from its unit. From that point on, each model in this unit is treated as a separate unit. Dynastic Command Node: While a command protocol is active for your army and no enemy units are within Engagement Range of this model, friendly units with the Command Protocols ability that are within 6" of this model benefit from both directives of the active command protocol. FACTION KEYWORDS: NECRONS, <DYNASTY> KEYWORDS: VEHICLE, ARTILLERY, SENTRY PYLON First and most importantly both units can deploy within 3" of terrain to ensure they can be placed on the table. The Leadership buff that the Convergence of Dominion provided was removed, it is bad on both small units and large units, which does leave big Lychguard and Immortal units, but I decided it wasn't a core part of the unit's identity. Instead, the Command Protocols aspect of it was buffed so that it applies both directives regardless of which ones are active. I don't want Starstele to be used as move blockers so its ability doesn't work when it is locked in combat and its weapon was changed into a longer-ranged heavy weapon to give it -1 to hit in melee. The random number of shots is kind of meaningless so it was changed to flat 3. The number of wounds was reduced to 8 to make them a bit easier to kill and to remove the need for damage brackets. The relocation ability was replaced with deep strike, having to do an action with a Cryptek is pretty prohibitive and it is an awful lot of text to allow Starstele to get where they need to be, deep strike serves the same function. Then there is also the problem of if you have a Cryptek within 3" why do you need a Starstele to provide Command Protocols? Sentry Pylons get a cost decrease because they're pretty expensive for a unit that is immobile after it deep strikes. Comparing them to Lokhust Heavy Destroyers makes Sentry Pylons look very bad. Focussed death rays are worse in almost all situations so the other weapons were made more expensive.
