Might not have everything full in there pretty sure im missing a Relic, but the idea atm is to have Captain w/ Bikes pushing - Sag sit on an objective in back while Guard squads footslog and Termis/Vexilus teleport in. Trajann is there too somewhere and the telemon is there having fun/being a distraction carnifex. I'm looking for any tips people have thusly and atm my sideboard is 4 sword and board Guardians and 3 Venetari.

Worth swapping Eagle's Eye for Auric Aquilas on the jetbike captain. Still get the 3++ but also re-roll your charges!

Yeah that was my mistake i think i misclicked - As a temporary thing till i can get the bikes painted i replaced them with 3 Venetari and 1 Saggitarum. I wanted to run a more in-your-face list. Speaking of which i see a lot of debate online about the Venetari being kitted out with the lances OR the pistol/buckler - I might magnetize, but honestly i have no idea which i'd run they both seem interesting.

If you plan on using your saggitarum for camping on a home objective, I'd consider cutting them to 3. You can't guarantee that the'll be able to shoot anything and if that is the case, it's better to only have 150p invested instead of 200p.

If you cut the one saggitarum, the first thing that would immediately improve the list, is giving all your custodian guard storm shields.
You plan on footslogging them across the field, presumably to hold objectives. They are way more survivable with storm shields and the spears only provide a marginal damage boost.

You plan on deepstriking your terminator bomb alongside your vexillus praetor. If you plan to do this to deliver a deciding strike to your opponent in turn 2 or 3, I'd reconsider that tactic.
Making a charge from deepstrike will fail more often than not and then you'll have to survive your opponents turn before your terminators can properly get to work (edit: even with the dreadhost strat, it's not a given).
If you insist on the deepstrike plan, I'd consider taking a normal vexillus praetor with the magnifica banner (-1 to hit is valuable nowadays) and try to bring your terminators in via the "vexilla teleport homer" stragagem for 3CP. Which sounds a lot, but trajann can make that strat free once per game.
Be advised that this move is rather telegraphed, but you can assure that your assets will make the charge from deepstrike.

Also, what's the plan with the auric shackles? They only really make sense when you combine them with another character who carries the stasis oubilette relic to shut down troublesome characters like ghazgkull or the nightbringer, but that's very situational.

Edit: I don't want to sound negative, it's a decent list.

Yeah the auric shackles is there for those really pesky people - a lot of lists I see are running solid hqs and I wanted a decent counter - and -1 to hit isn’t all that great since minus don’t stack - most people will be giving themselves the minus to hit anyways and I’d much prefer to hit more often in melee and hit harder. And I found running 2 spears 2 sword and board nets you pretty much the same survivability and the spears look cool, so rule of cool. And From Golden Light They Come + terms + dread host has a pretty decent chance of nailing that charge and taking that risk is kinda the fun of the list I will consider the -1 to hit more carefully in case they do fail , but yeah for the most part it’s like a 60% chance to succeed and I like playing risky it’s fun! It’s why my Venetari are replacing the bikes till I paint up the bikes - risk and fun!
