I am playing this mission soon and would like some help clarifying this. It is my impression that only the warlord can perform the "warp rites" psychic action for this mission, rather than any psyker like it would be if it was "warp rites" as a secondary on a non-crusade mission. Is this interpretation correct? The relevant text at the bottom.
There is also a non-psychic version of that action to qualify for that objective, and the attacker has a bonus objective to kill the warlord. These together with the text make me think it's the warlord only. And it being any psyker seems like it would break the game if the defender was an army with a lot of psyker units.
The Ritual (Progressive): The Defender earns 10 victory points each time they successfully complete the Perform Rites or Warp Rites action (see Mission Rules).
Warp Rites (Psychic Action): The Defender’s WARLORD can, if it is a PSYKER CHARACTER, attempt to perform the following psychic action:
Warp Rites (Psychic Action - Warp Charge 3): One PSYKER CHARACTER from your army can attempt to perform this psychic action in your Psychic phase if it is within 9" of the Ritual Site.
