Hey thanks for the feedback.
You may be right about the chronomancers. The first edition of the list had 2 units of cryptothralls instead of one of the immortal squads. just like that cryptothralls go from mvp to dnp.
Anrakyr is pretty cool (had to give a second look) the extra attack for core units could be super clutch except that all my melee threats are outright fast or are playing deployment games.
I suppose an 8” move isn’t too much more than his 6”, especially if he only wants to advance and they don’t. Staying within 6 after they charge though could get dicey.
Mind in the machine sounds pretty dope but I’m wondering how often you’ll get to use it. Could spend a cpl turns trying to get close to a vehicle only to whiff on the leadership roll.
Why does he have an extra strength and wound? Strength 8 warscythe but still only the 4 attacks so not like you’ll be able to count on killing something, other than marines equivalents.
He’s about the same price as a ccb so you had better be handing out extra attacks to something that actually gets to swing.
No phaeron which I don’t care about in this list.
No relics.
The points would work out fairly easily I would just have to scrap both the chronos or the ccb. Neither option is particularly tasty..? I guess the ccb could go, he had the flexibility to go be where he wants for objectives, anrakyr would have to get attached to a unit and hope for the best. The ccb is a valuable asset on its own and anrakyr is counting on a lot of things going well to get his points back.
I feel like I need a chrono hanging back with the scarabs and one being aggressive with a melee threat. Skorpekh, praetorians and scarabs all love love love their 5++ and the reroll charges.
Kind of a must have for skorpekh imo.
Thanks for the shout, I’ll have to build a list around anrakyr and szeras sometime, praetorians would wra wra wreck stuff.
Opinions? Automatically Appended Next Post: No chrono buff for the praetorians. They are taking some adjusting to.
