Does anyone remember Warhammer 40K CCG (Customizable Card Game) from Sabretooth Games?

I recently found my old boxes of the game, space marines and orks, and now have my eyes on one of the expansions.

The thing I like about this is you can have literally an entire massive war for an entire planet over and done with in one sitting.

Playing this oldie again also gave me an idea for how to build a regular 40K campaign around the CCG here is my idea.

First, play the card game. Then let the result of the card game provide the big strategic picture for your tabletop campaign (which will obviously focus on a much smaller force).

I.E. CCG Battle for Pandora Prime. Result, Ork Victory.

Now the 40K campaign will be about an individual space marine force that finds itself on the losing end of a major war. Their goal for the 40 K Tabletop campaign would be to retreat to a rally point where the surviving space marine forces will evacuate from.

"Iz got a plan. We line up. Yell Waaagh, den krump them in the face. Den when we're done, we might yell Waagh one more time." Warboss Gutstompa
