Hi all.

Just a check on how this strat works.

It’s Black Legion specific, does it just shut down Objective Secured or does it stop the enemy even counting as being on objective.

It shuts down obsec.

Use this Stratagem at the start of any battle round. Until the end of that battle round, enemy units cannot use any abilities that allow them to control an objective marker (e.g. Objective Secured) if there are any BLACK LEGION units from your army within range of that objective marker, even if there are more enemy models within range of it.

Just to make sure we're being clear: your Black Legion unit retains ObSec.

With this strat, one CSM in range of an objective can control it even if 10 Tacticals are also in range.

No, it doesnt let one BL model from your army control that marker. Obsec is shut down, and normal rules are used to determine who controls that marker, which is the player who has more models in range of that marker.

Why would the BL model not control it?

Only the enemy unit loses Obsec.

The one BL model would control it if it has obsec.

I think the context was a CSM in a BL detachment, which would have obsec as that is the dataslate name.
