First of all I realise I lose Cabalistic Rituals and Contagions by doing this. Maybe it's not the most optimal. But I think it could be a fun list that could stand up for itself, the addition of Death Guard to a mainly Thousand Sons list adds something they lack in terms of highly durable melee punch. Anyway, see what you think:
+Thousand Sons Battalion - Cult of Time+
Daemon Prince (185) Warlord (Undying Form), Wings & Sword, Conniving Plate. Glamour of Tzeentch, Presage
Exalted Sorcerer (160) Disc, High Acolyte (Immaterial Echoes), Athanean Scrolls, Dilettante (Hourglass of Manat). Firestorm of Tzeentch, Doombolt
Infernal Master (90) Helm of the Daemon's Eye, Glimpse of Eternity, Malefic Maelstrom. Weaver of Fates
10 Rubrics (279) Protege, Warpflame Pistol, 9x Warpflamers. Pyric Flux, Temporal Surge
10 Tzaangors (70)
10 Tzaangors (70)
10 Scarab Terminators (445) Rites of Coalescence, 2x Hellfyre Missiles, 2x Soulreaper Cannon. Temporal Surge
2 Chaos Spawn (46)
+Death Guard Patrol - Harbingers+
Typhus (165) Miasma of Pestilence, Putrescent Vitality
19 Poxwalkers (114)
5 Deathshroud Terminators (275) Champion of Disease (Plague Skull of Glothila)
Foul Blightspawn (100) Viscous Death
Total: 1999pts, 6CP remaining
Battleplan
- Typhus & Deathshroud deep-strike to make up for lack of mobility
- DP, Infernal Master, Foul Blightspawn, and the Scarabs seize the centre
- Warpflamers placed as needed
- Poxwalkers advance forward to support the Rubrics & Scarabs
- Tzaangors and Spawn hold objectives/perform actions
- Exalted Sorc goes wherever the MW are needed
Obviously loads of buffs being stacked on various units here, as well as strats hopefully enabling some hefty damage output whilst still having a fair model count.
