Imperial Knights Stratagem

Use this Stratagem before the battle, after you have chosen your Warlord. Choose one QUESTORIS CLASS or DOMINUS CLASS model from your army for 1 CP, or choose two such models for 3 CP. Each model you chose gains the CHARACTER keyword, and you can choose an Imperial Knights Warlord Trait for them (note that this model is only regarded as your Warlord for the purposes of this Warlord Trait). All of the Imperial Knights Warlord Traits in your army must be different (if randomly generated, re-roll duplicate results), and no model can have more than one. You can only use this Stratagem once per battle.

I have a list that starts with Freeblade Lance (army of reknown) and Questor Mechanicus as the Allegiance

Warlord is a Knight Preceptor that has Favored Knight for 2 Heirlooms and 1 Warlord Trait. (Echoes from the Past)

I also have a Knight Valiant that I want to give the "Cold Eradication" warlord trait from Mechanicus Allegiance, using the Exalted Court.
I added Exalted court to the list, but Cold Eradication is not showing up as an option on the list.

I believe that The Exalted Court can be used to give the Cold Eradication Warlord trait. Thoughts?

You need a super heavy detatchment to unlock the stratagem

The stratagem gives a warlord trait to a questoris or dominous knight

This can be any warlord trait from the imperial knights codex

It cannot be a warlord trait from the engine war supplement as these can only go to your actual warlord.

Your warlord must be your knight lance character to gain a warlord trait and us not restricted to questoris or dominous clases

Ok, I see that Cold Eradication is under the psychic awakening book. Makes sense. So I can swap warlord to Valiant and Exalted Court to the Preceptor and make it work.
