I can't find much lore on these bolters... Anyone know what they are used for?

Source / context? Do you mean the bolters used by HH Legion Seeker Squads?

Yeah, they are just Bolters used by Legion Seeker squads in the HH game. They are the same as the Bolters used by Sternguard in 40k which use Special Issue Ammo like Kraken Penetrator or Hellfire rounds.

Don't DW have access to "seeker rounds" as a special issue wargear option? Any relation between the two?

. Psychic tests are unfluffy. Your longing for AV is understandable but misguided. Your chapter doesn't need a separate codex. Doctrines should go away. Being a "troop" means nothing. This has been a cranky service announcement. You may now resume your regularly scheduled arguing.

Not really, aside from 'variant ammo types'. Seeker squads are a heresy-era formation, deathwatch don't exist until the War of the Beast, a millenium later.

The three 'boxs' in the clip of the Seeker bolter is a fire selector for different ammo types.

They do have one ammo type in common.

Seeker Squads:
Kraken Bolts - extended range, improved AP
Scorpius Bolts - Single shot, massively powerful bolts
Tempest Bolts - 'Frag Bolts'

Deathwatch Special Issue Ammunition
Kraken Bolts - as above
Hellfire Bolts - Acid rounds, improved organic damage invented to kill 'nids
Vengeance Bolts - designed post-heresy for killing traitor marines
Dragonfire Bolts - 'Flamer Bolts' designed to dig targets out of cover.

Termagants expended for the Hive Mind: ~2835

Ah. Gotcha. I thought perhaps the seeker pattern bolter tended to use some sort of unique ammo with similar stats to the current DW special issue wargear.

There are Seeker bolt shells. Extremely rare guided bolt shells that can steer themselves to a target.

Unrelated to Seeker Bolters or the Seeker Squads.
