Gorlok Blackpowder from Blackpowder's Bucaneers.

Painted with the rest of his war band for a unit painting comp at my FLGS.

First time attempting aged/cracked leather and pretty happy with it.

Oh DAMN. That coat came out PHENOMENAL. That's some seriously amazing work. I'd love to know how you did it. Honestly, this is just an amazing paint job all around.

Trenchcoat:
Abbadon black
Eshin grey dry brush
Skavenblight dinge dry brush
Very light mechanicus standard grey dry brush
Dawnstone dry brushed to tips of folds (from above.

To here including drying time, I'm about 20 minutes in.

Then thinned nuln oil wash with 2-3 layers in recesses and focused on underside of folds

Took about 10 minutes including drying time with a fan to speed it up.

Then cross hatching with the tip of a new 2/0 brush focused on tips of folds and some upwards facing flat areas, but focused at the folds where cracking would be most likely.

Took about 10 minutes.
