Hello everyone!

My name is Steve. I have been slowly returning to the world of hobby painting after a 10~12 year hiatus.

Basically the gaming aspect of the hobby stopped being enjoyable for me. The quick fire releases of Blood Angels, Grey Knights, Tyranid and Dark Eldar codices resulted in almost everyone in my local GW store running tournament level cheese with there army lists. Whilst I, who was simply after a fun game, didn't have a hope in hell against those army lists. So I ultimately packed it all in.

However, during the recent upheaval in the world I have been left looking for other things to do with my free time and found myself looking back towards this hobby.
And holy smokes. I never realised how much I missed it. I have a few completed things I'll show in the showcase section of the forum, but please understand I am NOT a fast painter.

But it is good to be back at it.

Welcome back, I had a similar story out of the hobby for about 5-10 years before coming back a little over a year ago.

It's a very different beast now, but I'm having more fun now than I have in the past now that I'm part of a new community.

Best of luck out there.
