I've always wanted to start a Salamanders army, and now that AoC has made space marines pretty decent, figured now's a good time to get some.
This list can be built pretty easily from the "Honoured of the Chapter" box set and a few other kits, so I think it's a pretty decent starting point from a collection perspective.

Created with BattleScribe
- The Chaplain sticks with the bladeguard; he can give them melee buffs and make them tankier with the FNP, plus he can make them obsec thanks to Never Give Up
- The bladeguard march up the board as a tanky 'anchor' unit, able to contest the midfield objectives and give my opponent something to chew on
- Assault Intercessors play a support role, able to support the bladeguard or protect the backline shooters as necessary
- Eradicators are my 'big things killer' and they combo pretty well with the Promethean Cult Salamanders ability
- Heavy Intercessors can sit on a backline objective and clear out chaff
- Captain supports the gunline, making them more reliable to hit and protecting them when necessary
- The ven dread is really only here because I already own the model, but he can prove to be a versatile threat and his melta/flamer combo pairs well with Salamanders
