I was thinking about starting a Tau army, but I'm not sure I get how they're supposed to play for objectives.

Plan A: Vaporize every enemy near the objectives, then leisurely stroll up and claim them.
Plan B: Throw sacrificial units onto objectives to deny them, then watch as any nearby enemy units punch them to pieces.
Plan C: ???

Tau also don't seem to have much in the way of secondaries with Nephilim, though they do have some good mobility for Engage on All Fronts, etc.

Any explanations or advice would be appreciated!

Also, using the enforcer commander to make some crisis suits objective secured, and laugh as people try to chew through a full set of drones and suits.
