Hey all, almost finished this force, just got Obliterators, Dropclaws and Hellbrute to build paint.

Hoping this is a reasonably high pressure army, Legionnaires camping at home with the lord, Terminators dropping in the middle to be super hard to shift with the -1 to hit and -1 from the Relic. Meanwhile dropclaws are packing 1 Hellbrute in one and a havoc squad and chosen for alpha strike pressure. Hopefully giving the Oblits time to make their way up the board unscathed (with MoP) support.

A lot of CP spent pre game by todays standard, but the flexibility to redeploy is amazing and hydras wail is fantastic to wait for key strats like transhuman and then you have Cyphers ability to punish it further, it should really starve the opponent of stratagems.

Believe it’s got the ability to handle armour and hordes.

This list will struggle. Almost no heavy weapons or long range too many points in legionaries and not enough pressure. Also I don't see a need for the lord in the current build.

I would suggest reducing the legionaries to minimum. And then consider a different HQ that can caddy the trait you want. Its worse than before but still ok..

Havocs I would change the reapers out personally. It's an ok profile due to the high volume but you need something with >24" range somewhere.

I would also suggest combi weapons on the chosen and terminators so you have options against mech or opposing tda etc and this would make renascent infiltration better too despite the huge nerf.

For other ideas consider bikers or warp talons for some added pressure to overload.

Anyway just some friendly ideas. GL

Oh no worries, had some discussions on Reddit and pretty happy how I’ve got it now. Watched some art of war vids and read goonhammers codex review. Knowing things such as chaos lords being pretty much redundant now etc. Only bad unit I’m taking are the Hellbrutes in Dreadclaws, but think with a proper delivery system they’re worth it.
