As the Title suggests, I will be going through the Bolt Action book " Germany Strikes!" from Scenario 1: The First Shots to: Scenario 16: The Road to Milan using a mix of Bolt Action minis, 40k's Imperial Guard, and my mix of minis that form my Orc Army, as well as others if needed.

As I am using K'47 rules and a mix of models, as well as being limited to what terrain I have, I am going to be flexable with the allowed models and table setups, while trying to be as close to the intent of the Scenario as possible.

The idea is to "play out" an invasion of an Imperial planet by orcs using the book to set the Scenario and to play out the campaigns.


Scenario 1: The First Shots

Characters will earn their names overtime, none start named.

Played this out after work.

I'll get some pics up after a couple days with a bit of a write up.

Points of interest.

3rd round all three 177th squads fail Morale and went down. 2nd Infantry Squad was brutal, wiping out three units and the last men standing.
The MMG was dirty to 3rd Squad and kept them pinned while popping one or two IG a round.
The Marksman missed his only shot with a 1 and then promptly died in the 2nd round.
The 177th officer was placed badly and was ineffective all game before dying at the hands of the AT rifleteam.
I claimed Heavy Infantry but paid for SS units w/ SMGs. Second round played them as such. The Nobs caught a body before I realized the error.
Arty killed 8 to 10 models between the two.
I really like Snipers and AT rifle teams, more then the work they do.

Interesting approach. Having finished 2 K47 campaigns that started as Bolt Action port over hopeful that yours will be successful too.

Cool idea. This thread does demand some photos for it to real pop though!
