Is there a reason to pick one or the other with chainfist vs power fist? Or would a mix of both be better? Is the chainfist basically just straight up better but more expensiveHow about power axes, cheaper than both the previous but also worse, are they worth considering?

I have a couple Horus Heresy armies planned, and I think each one will have 10 20 or 30 regular cataphractii terminators, with the Pride of the Legion I guess?

Also thinking of Lernean Terminators for Alpha Legion, which come with axes, but would power fists be better? Or indeed again, chainfists, are they The Ultimate Weapon?


On an entirely different level, combi-weapons, are they worth piling on a bunch of? I think my forces may end up being Alpha Legion, Iron Warriors, and maybe Luna Wolves, maybe maybe Iron Hands or World Eaters, if it matters.

On the whole chainfists are better but the points add up fast and most of the time you wont need more than one or two per squad to take down any vehicle. Personally i would say combi weapons are worth it if you are taking melta or plasma but then you also need to invest in some sort of way to get them safely up the field
