I know many of us like to create goals for our hobby-selves at the start of the year. Nothing too hardcore, more like guidelines to help keep you on track for the year. Well, we are now slightly over half-way through the year, and I am interested in how you are doing!

Here are some of the hits for me:

I had 5 main projects for the year:
1. Complete a Dark Age Irish army from Wargame Atlantic- Complete
2. Complete my Korean War aircraft from Tumbling Dice - Complete
3. Complete a Persian force from Victrix - Purchased
4. Complete a second Dark Age force from Gripping beast - Not started
5. Complete two forces of Triremes for Poseidon's Warriors - Printed, and half painted

In 2022 I have painted over 130+ minis, so I am on track to get closer to 250+ this year. However, I have to admit that these Persians are daunting me!

I also have been able to play a lot more games then I expected! I typically target about 6-8 by now, but am at 20+! This includes a variety of games from Kill Team to WIP games of my own. However, I have played a lot of Castles in the Sky so far this year!

Finally, I have been pretty productive on the Rules Writing front as I have gotten a few titles up on the Wargame Vault as well this year.
- Blood and Spectacles 2E
- White Star/Red Star
- Under the Martian Yoke
- Fury of the Northman

...and of course, Castles in the Sky came out for Osprey this year. Woot! Woot!

There are a few others bits and bobs here and there, but those are the most relevant. If you want to read more and see some pictures, I of course have a mid-year check-in on the blog:

However, what I really want to see in this thread is YOUR progress! What have you been working on and what have you accomplished in 2022 so far? Pictures are very welcome!

I'm over 100 minis. The next army I'm painting is about 60 models.

- I'm playing a lot more this year. Few games a month at minimum now compared to the "once a month" game
- Finished a large piece of Terrain, few more planned this year
- Finished a ton of big bugs for Tyranids and finished half of the gaunts I have. Maybe 50 gaunts, 8 monstrous creatures and the 12 Tyranid Warriors took me awhile
- Finished some more models from my Iron Hands Space Marines. 2 Models remaining, a tank and a character left.
- Built and primed a traitor guard 500 Points~ might not paint this year
- Built a 2000 point CSM army I'm just starting to paint. Finishing this by September ~
- Some D&D Terrain finished

Well, my main goal was to play more games than I did last year. 40k, AoS, Flames of War, Bolt Action, BattleTech, D&D/RPGs, boardgames, stuff I hardly get to play, stuff ive never played..... Exactly what's not important, just play more.

Mission accomplished.
I've managed to play games (sometimes multiple) at least 3 days a week average here in '22.
I could stop now & end '22 ahead.
(I won't though)

The secondary goal was to paint 1 more mini this year than I did last year.
I'm not even close. There's still 4.5 months to go though. So maybe.....

I decided at the beginning of the year, new year, new army. So I painted up a Maggotkin army. So I painted 20 plague bearers, 3 drones, 4 blight lords, 20 blight kings, 1 plague caster, 1 big mouthed plague bearer, a tree, and I’ve assembled the Glottkin. If I get him painted, it will be the first time I’ve ever painted an entire army within a year. I’ve also painted up 40 Dark Angels for 30k. Working on a dreadnought and 2 Spartans. Working up to my best year yet - with my Crohn’s flaring up, I didn’t get much done for the last 2 years. Last year I just painted up a handful of death guard and zombies.

Totally jealous of everyone here, all completing things and meeting goals...*grumble*

Bought more than I finished, as per norm however:

Built and painted a brand new Blades of Khorne army.
Built, painted, and currently working the diorama for a 1/48 Jagdpanther.
Built a Custodes army, still waffling over the Host I want to paint them as.

Shadowkeepers (4000 points)
3rd Company (3000 points)
