So I am working on a ravenguard army, I really liked the idea of the space wolf black watch. wondering how to run them to best compliment the ravenguard and my existing dark angels. I am thinking literally a wall of grey slayers running in front screening everything (i monstly run infantry and bikes very few dreds or vehicles) with thier 6++ spread them out giving everything cover. assuming attaching an apothicary to a max squad would be good. but what else to round out the little detachment other than maybe the apothecary and 20 grey slayers. Varagyr Wolf Guard Terminators look amazing but not sure they would compliment my field fast power armor bodies tactics well as they cannot keep up.

Also enjoyed building the models and so far painting. I have been doing all helmeted though, is that frowned on with space wolves? I don't like the nonhelmeted look and even worse with the beards and hair everywhere. fur pelts and accessories over the army look great but something going into combat without a helmet seems extra dumb unless their brain is the least valuable part of them. Mmaybe its because i am a motorcyclist and cringe when people do not wear helmets.

If i build out into a full legion def gettign some Varagyr Wolf Guard Terminators, that will probably be the next project after the raven guard so any suggestions there to start picking up bodies would also be cool

Varagyr hit like a truck. But they don't keep up with Space Wolves either.
