Hello! I am new to 9th edition and to Chaos Knights and I was looking for some advice!

I like the ‘big’ knights, do you think any of them are strong or viable?

Does anyone have any advice on understanding the keyword system? Coming from 7th I feel quite confused by the <<keywords>>

I am a bit indecisive, does GW change points costs often via errata or Chapter Approved often anymore?

Do you have any advice on Chaos Knights list building? Thanks!

Magnets! Knights have quite some options and what is good changes every now and then. Get some magnets and magnetize those options. Also get two bigger flat magnets for the hip joint. Sub assemblies make it easier to paint the knight.
Don't worry too much about the keywords, once you get some games in you will notice that they mostly interact with strategems. Only important rules are keywords mentioned in the BRB, I think titanic and vehicle?

Something to consider is that a single knight is not only a large and powerful unit, but also expensive in points. It also cannot be everywhere at once, so a pair of Wardogs( Chaos Armigers ) are ideal companions. This combination is an ideal starting point for your Knight House force.

Casual gaming, mostly solo-coop these days.

In tournaments wardog spam seems to be way to go with 1-2 big knights along side them.

I've been playing one Desocrator, and ten wardogs, and been having good fun with that. Leaves some points left over for giving blessings. Wardogs are my mvp every game.

I think any of the 3 chaos specific big knights are great. I am not as excited about the big knights you make from imperial kits.

Also, the wardog kit is really nice, and they are fun to build and look great!

The most important thing, is deciding which subfaction you want to play, or if you just want to play a custom household with those traits.

The <brackets> are usually keywords which denote your house and if you're an infernal or iconoclast household. They are replaced by whatever one you choose.
