Greetings all, this should have been my first post but I had an eager question about dice to ask the WHFB board instead. This will have to be my second.

I'm fairly new and old to the hobby, having always had fond memories of my God Father's WHFB collection I've decided now's a good a time as any to get eBay sniping and build my own collection up. I've settled on the 5th Edition because it hits the childhood memories spot the best and from it I am spinning my own home-brew table-top sports game, with Goblins and such playing ball between farm raids (inspired by Blood Bowl but wholly different). As a kid I tried to get into 40k as a Chaos Space Marines faction since my older brother did Space Marines, but the sci-fi setting has never done it for me (wish it did).

Needless to say I'm chomping at the bit for the release of Old World and will likely break the forums from posting too much when it finally hits, until then I'll be pretty quiet because real-life is a busy existence.

Hope to see you all in the threads! Thanks for having me aboard.

Welcome to dakka!

I can't wait for the Old World to return either.... that may see some serious GW purchases coming back into my life.
