Quite proud of this one. Definitely improving. Comments and criticism welcome!

The red I think is great, it is very difficult to highlight further on the suit in the way it is sculpted into so many small panels, and the blacklining on the red is smooth and very uniform giving a great sense of depth and definition.

However for the blue, you could start a couple shades darker on the undersides/crevasses to get more definition in the muscles. The legs on the second pic look very uniform but relooking at the first pic the upper body seems OK.

Here is mine from a couple years ago from similar angles shown as an example.
If I were to redo it now it would be 2-3 shades darker starting on the underside of the model and have 2-3 more transition layers.

Also as with Gandalf model you posted, paint the rim of the model's base. Neatens it up immeasurably.

Thanks a lot. This was actually my second attempt. I stripped it all last time because after I did the lining for the webbing it looked awful! (See the photo). This time I did spend most time on the reds and I think you're right the dark blues would have been better darker. I actually did start quite dark (Macragge blue) but think I overdid the first highlights probably. You're right about blacklining the base. I actually did! But you're right you can't see it. Just gone over it again. I didn't do that to Gandalf yet because he isn't actually quite finished. I still want to give a fluorescent blue tinge to the sword to show it's glowing because Orcs are near.....

I like your Spidey! Really neat idea to flip him upside down and have him entangled in those metal cables.

Just been browsing your other Crisis Protocol paint jobs! They are amazing. Spidey is my first. I've got the core set, Asgardians, Scarlet Witch and Quick Silver and the Hulk and really looking forward to getting stuck into the rest.
