Hello all!

Old, "new player" here, who havent played the game in 20years or so.

Even thou i havent played the game in a long time, i've always been Chaos and especially Khorne enthuastic. And i've kept painting chaos minuatures even thou i havent played the game in a long while.

I actually have one guestion about 40k rules: Is it possible to use khone juggernaut lord with "normal chaos space marine" codex rules?(i know you can use him with new worldbearers codex)

Explanation why id like to play juggernaut lord in normal chaos codex:

(i've done some research and new worldeaters seem quite strong, maybe even little bit too strong for my taste. And i like normal codex more because it has more different units, even if its worse than worldbearers. Being able to play juggernaut lord is still VERY BIG DEAL for me, because i love the figure so much, so it would be nice to know, if i can play him with normal csm codex rules.)

Thanks for the possible answers!

Hi– welcome to Dakka!

I am likewise a hobbyist at heart and have no clue what is going on with the rules past 8th ed launch. You can see if you get replies here but you may get faster responses on the 40K army list page:

Hmm, not sure.

I was looking at running my WE army using the CSM rule book as I don't much like how the WE have gone. There were interim rules for WE released in White Dwarf back when the CSM book came out, but that only had rules for Berserkers and Kharn. I think the juggerlord *was in the Legends rules, but may not be any more now it's returned to the WE codex? Ultimately, I suspect you probably can't, unfortunately, if you're going strictly by the rules - but realisticly it will mostly depend on who you play with.

NB - pedantry alert. The Khorne legion is World Eaters. The other guys who are up for all flavours of daemons are Word Bearers.

edit: Yes, Lord On Juggernaut is still in the Legends rules on the warhammer community site:

Thanks for the answers, and the nice link!

Are legend rules official rules for warhammer gameplay? (somethin you could use in tournaments too etc,)

Welcome to dakka! Bear in mind that 10th edition is supposed to hit us in the summer so anything ruleswise may and will probably change.

They're certainly official insofar as that Warhammer Community is an official Games Workshop website, it's not something made by a third party.

Tournaments is a different question though. I don't participate myself, but my understanding is that some will allow Legends rules/models and some won't.
