I know covid and other things probably affect the avaibility of new/old GW miniatures, but i still want to ask something as returning player.

Has it been usual in last couple of years that GW runs out of miniatures to sell in ur local shops, and you cant even order them from GW themselves? (local shops in my country dont even have many old WE miniatures)

Dont understand me wrong, im not whining. Im just asking this out curiosity, if this is normal, and if it is, how long would you say is the "usual waiting time" for next batch of new (World Eater) miniatures to appear in GW?

I know you guys can't(probably) see in the future, but if you have any estimates, id be very glad to hear about them. So i could have somekind hunch, when i might get my new miniatures.

Gw currently has delivery issues. Apparently because of IT problems in their new warehouse. At least that's what german retailers are told.

Quite a lot of GW's stuff does sell out on release and this has been the case for years now.

So I wouldn't say this is unusual.

As for restocking, I'd say that varies too. From a UK perspective its probably around a month to three months?

This has been a common occurrence these past few years (2018+). Reasons/speculations as to why vary & are the subject of other threads you can search out if you want.
Sorry, no guesstimates on your wait time. Sometimes it's just a few weeks, sometimes .... longer.

The recent round of orders / pre-orders went out super delayed and in smaller increments than expected.

My FLGS didn't get *any* of the recently released stuff (WE, Soulstorm) at all. They haven't gotten any GW product since I think early January, as it simply isn't shipping to them.

Haven't checked the GW in the next town over, but from what I hear even they're having issues.
