Hey all,

I have finished my first batch of figures for my Flesh Eater Courts army and amongst my first miniatures in general. I am generally happy(ish) with the results but had a fair few problems along the way to getting these done; primarily to do with clashing colours and the pitfalls of painting the wings separately then attaching them only to have to repaint large sections!

Anyway, I am a total newbie to all of this and, despite the various calamities that I had getting these done I enjoyed the process overall. Inspiration for the paint job was drawn largely from a ‘Nerdsome’ tutorial on YouTube…

The bases I kind of made up as I went…

Am looking for any feedback….

Thanks man! I struggled a bit with the final result as I loosely followed a YouTuber called ‘N3rdsome’ for the body areas and another called ‘That MrShy’ for the wings. Thing is, the wings ended up looking a little ‘detached’ from the overall tone so I messed around with the body shades to try and tie it all together. Truth is, I’d struggle to remember exactly how I got to the end result now there was so such messing around with shades lol

Next project (after a Predator diorama) is the Varghulf and that is all my own colour scheme so .. you know… *gulp* errrr
