I'm not a Death Guard guy, I'm mostly just in it for the painting and fluff so I have a lot of models I'll probably never use. I just saw a model sold at extremely discounted UK prices (GW are jerks). I have plenty of shame, but this might be too good of a deal. By the time I finish enough shame, GW will probably raise the prices a couple of times. I have pretty good Magnus proxy and have no real interest in 1,000 Sons but do like Korne daemons and Angron, and Mortarion with my background in infectious diseases.

If you know you will want to paint it, and it is discounted, on top of that discounted a lot, there is no reason to skip on it. Unless it means you won't be able to pay for regular life stuff.

If you have to kill, then kill in the best manner. If you slaughter, then slaughter in the best manner. Let one of you sharpen his knife so his animal feels no pain.

No. Pulling the trigger on the plasma pistol won't make the gun shoot; it will just break the trigger.

(Seriously though, if you'd get enough joy out of painting and owning it to justify the cost, then go for it.)

ATTENTION
. Psychic tests are unfluffy. Your longing for AV is understandable but misguided. Your chapter doesn't need a separate codex. Doctrines should go away. Being a "troop" means nothing. This has been a cranky service announcement. You may now resume your regularly scheduled arguing.

Thanks, purchased it, but since it's coming from England it may be a while, 4-6 weeks. Got it for $113 US, so I saved about $65 if I bought it straight from GW, or I saved about $35 after the standard 15% discount we get in the States. If I decide against it I could probably make a small profit off of Ebay where it goes for about $144.50

I figure I'll get all the primarchs because it'll be a while before all primarchs are purchasable and they're all very different (probably why I like Orks). Weirdly my top 3 factions are Orks, Custodes, and Grey Knights, none having a primarch.

Side note: When I was building my painting station, it was cheaper to buy the paint organizers straight from Poland than to order the exact same products from a store just a few states away. I ask what's the deal in an email and they told me that some companies get better shipping rates. Ask the Polish branch how they got better shipping then try to do that. It doesn't require a degree in business or accounting. How do you do so poorly at your job that it's cheaper to order from thousands of miles away than just buying it in person a couple of hours away?

Loved painting my Mortarion. It's a beautiful model and I'd argue that getting a daemon primarch cheap is always a steal.
