Yeah, yeah, I know. Lots of people didn't like the book, but some did. I love the idea, in any case,

So. Ideas on painting of converting Nappies to science fiction miniatures?

IIRC, the troops in the book were all robots. Only their officers were the Frenchmen kidnapped from earth.

I was thinking of using Napoleonic 15mm miniatures (probably the game pieces from the present iteration of the RISK board game, so I am not spending lots of money) painting them in Napoleonic uniforms, but in metallic colors, and with silver hands and faces. Their officers would be more legitmate Napoleonic minis (Brickdust?) painted as humans.

Thoughts?

First, all means to conciliate; failing that, all means to crush.
