Are Perturabo and Co. just as juiced-up as Mortartion, Angron, etc? If so, when they make the Alpharius/Omegon model, we'll finally find out if he is on the side of Chaos or Imperium. As much as I want old man Russ-Odin, I'd rather see the Chaos primarchs.

Preparing the Invasion of Terra

Perturabo lost the War of Rust and Ruin against Mortarion after the Rift opened due to the plagues utilised by the Nurglite forces.
Lorgar has never really been a powerhouse and got his bricks flipped by shadow-monster Corax.
Alpharius is dead and Omegon wouldn't have become a Daemon Primarch.

In terms of raw power Lorgar and Perturabo are weaker than their God-aligned brothers but they have far more freedom in what they get to do. Mortarion likes to think he's free but he lost most of his allies during the Plague Wars when he refused Nurgle's call to fight in the Somnium Stars against the forces of the other Gods. Lorgar on the other hand, got to sit in a temple and meditate for the better part of ten thousand realspace years.
