Infinite Archipelago: The Isle of Sedra is an RPG Setting and Adventures for The Fantasy Trip. It is comprised of three .pdfs or books. A source on the Isle of Sedra, a solo module, and a GMed module, The Scorpion Labyrinth.

The Fantasy Trip was the forerunner to SJ Games GURPS, designed when Steve Jackson was still at Metagaming. He reacquired the rights a few years back and had a kickstarter for a big box version with plenty of play aids. One can still buy either the pdfs or books. This was my favorite RPG system back in HS and college, and on that basis bought into GURPS when it was released in 1986. I prefer GURPS now, but was using TFT for a conversion of 2nd edition Five Leagues from the Borderlands (loved the campaign aspects, but hated the combat system). I am considering backing this KS mainly for GURPS use, but of course could use it as is for TFT.

What made TFT special at the time was that it was a classless point-based system when the vast majority of RPGs were clones of D&D with a class-based system and random character generation.

TFT is wonderful for its simplicity. You can have a character done in minutes. The system is simple but not simplistic.

Fun stuff.

Agreed. That was one reason I chose it as the new combat system for my Five Leagues game, the other being long familiarity.
