I'm looking to find some modular terrain able to be put together quickly but quite compact for storing. 3d printing is fine, but I've recently run into a problem with 3d printed modular terrain being designed for resin detail wise so looks terrible in the more robust fdm. But also pegs not lining up any where close to what they should. What are my options? Looking for sci fi for skirmish games but fantasy skirmish functionality would be okay too. Think necromunda or mordheim and you're on the right track.

I have seen some Paper (pop-up book) style terrain.
Will that work for your needs?
