It's been a long time since I decided that I was going to paint an army from scratch and it seems I've stumbled into this one over the last few months. This is the Infernii and Byzantine kindreds from Mierce Miniature's Darklands game. Next on the painting block are a unit of giant demon hippos and getting the rest of the terrain painted.

I really like the shield and axe demon, the skin color is great, and it's not every day you have a demon with a shield.
