This is half joke and half campaign tourni idea.

If you are at a tourni. say there are 9 Tyranid players there. Lore states they are all linked by the hive mind. (For sake of arguement they are all leviathan).

8 of the players come 8th, 9th or lower. One Tyranid player comes 1st.

Because the Hive mind has come first does thta mean all Tyranid players come first too?

This lead me downa rabbit hole of thought. What would the thoughts be to a tourni/campaign. So the setting and layout is just like any other official GT.

Difference is you are playing not just for yourself. So the top player still gets prizes etc. But the faction you are playing for gets a score. So GT scores are submitted so as an idividual player that remains unchanged you cna continue GT's just like you always did.

But there is now an extra category followed by workshop in the GT scene that has the faction leader board. (not army, so Space Marines in total not split into DA or BA etc). Or maybe even main factions so ou have chaos/imperial/hive mind/Waagh/Necrons/Craftworlds etc however it is done.

Whats peoples thoughts?

Well, pretty much the concept of grand campaigns where you register your results online but in the same room.

Basically a team-competition. Could be neat. But I don't play tournaments anyway.
