Howdy ya'll.

I've been going to my game store, they're nice fellas and I've had fun with at least five games of 40k now. However, I'm wanting to venture off into fantasy. This means I can either way for the Old World to come out, or dip into Age of Sigmar.

Not a lot of people play Age of Sigmar, but I've fount one person willing to play Saraphon against me. As of right now I have enough of the Daemons of Khorne combat patrol to make a decent Blades of Khorne list. Of which the first faction I've thought I would get into. However, I never have played an long lasting game of Age of Sigmar so I'm a bit of a fish out of water.

Should I go the route of Blades of Khorne if I'm a newbie? What edition battletome do I need? If not, should I try another easier faction? I normally play Chaos and Orks in 40k so which would you recommend?

If BoK is what you've got, give it a try.
As for wich battletome you need? The current one of course! If you don't know which one that is? Just browse GWs site - they only sell the current one.

I don't care where you choose to buy your stuff. If you don't know what the current book looks like, searching the companies site is still the best way to find out what you need. Because like I said, they don't list out of date books.
You then tell your local shop what to order for you.
