I ran the GSC Acolytes with four one per game dynamite. They clock in at 150 points. For 1 CP you can deep strike them 3" away. For 1 CP more you can get +1 to hit and more AP. And the primus can add re-rolls to hit after you see the army list.

Of course when you deep strike in you have sustain hits 1 and ignore cover.

From a math perspective is this just too good? Does the 150 point always trade up if the enemy has any unit more exspensive then 150. (Assuming no-1 damage.) I blew up 300 points of smashasquigs with character support for 2 CP through whaaag (5++) with no counterplay possabillaty.

I am conserned I am just facerolling my friend. But I don't know the math to verify.

Yeah, math says 3" deepstriking reliable buffed demo charges are pretty good....

But you don't need math to tell you if your making games un-fun.

I mean, you were there weren't you? Did you BOTH have fun? If you're unsure just ask your friend.

Now if this was the 1st game you did this to your opponent you might need to play a few more games with the gimmick to determine an accurate answer.
Afterall, as an opponent, the 1st time you get such a trick pulled on you the reaction is typically "Oh. That's cool/nasty...." But after several more games it might get a bit irritating to outright un-fun. Especially if you don't learn how to deal with it.

If only you had fun because if this, then there's a problem.

I did not really have fun with it. There is a reason I am asking.

Infiltrating abberants also muched his army up well. But to be fair he charged it with flashgits where he should have used his nobs.

Like I said, no math needed to determine if you had fun.
So unless you're playing for $? Don't play with un-fun things.

That is not what I am asking. I am asking the math.

Yes extremely strong. Less so after nerfs, your win rate was around an absurd 65% before and bombsquads were part of that.
