Wow, they are some great models and one hell of an army you have got there! I am very impressed by the amount of miniatures you painted last year. Congrats on the daughter, my partner just had our son in March, so I am also experiencing the joys of lack of sleep! How are you managing to find time to produce such excellent work!?!

I like the detail you are putting onto the bases and the models, you really have captured the rage and aesthetic of the world eaters!

I can’t wait to see what comes next!

Honestly it gets better with time. Back in January I couldn't even think about doing model stuff. It wasn't until February, around the two month mark, that she had a stable enough sleep schedule for the wife and I to get 2-3 hours of baby-free time in the evening after she went down. Most nights we sit on the couch together, and I paint / build while she does some cross stitch.

It also helps that I've got a lot of stuff in various stages. The command squad was technically finished this year, but that'd be the two flail guys specifically. My lightning claw tartaros & praetor were done at least a month prior to our daughter arriving.

All of the above is such a true statement. I have photos of me building / painting with my kiddo in my lap (tightly wrapped, of course). Sometimes its just about 'what can I reasonably do in this time period? Simplifies some painting quite a bit when you're like "I enjoy done things over things that take 8 months to finish." You can always add more detail later!

Loving the terminators, that Praetor is phenomenal! Some serious gore to the point I’d question their loyalty to the Emperor! .D
The dreadnoughts are super cool models too, the bases are jam packed with details. The studs on their plate are great, are they part of the new deredeo kit?
