I pre-ordered the Mantic 'Here's Negan' game way back when. Eventually primed the figures, but then life caught up and the game got put away unplayed. Dug it out not too long ago and decided to paint up the characters. I have a ton of painted zombies, so though I will eventually get the ones that came with the game, I'm not as rushed because I have others I can use to play.

EDIT: Broke down and painted the Zombies too, just to actually complete a project.

Anyway, I've been spoiled by some of the cool figs I've painted over the last year, mostly resins/resin prints with some really nice metals as well. These are obviously cast plastic for a board game. Not bad at all, but not as clean/crisp/details as I've come to enjoy. The Sherry figure is probably my favorite, with Negan himself second. The Dwight figure was my least favorite.

I tried to paint these up to kind of match the painted figures in the rulebook. In some cases I couldn't find pictures of figs from all angles so some things git my choice of color (Sherry's backpack is the biggest example). Anyway, had fun with the set. Went for a dirty/stained concrete look for the basing.

Knocked out the zombies this week. Pretty quick paint jobs, not a lot of shading/highlighting. Went with a green base edge to help them stand out from the characters on the board.

Set up the tiles for the 1st scenario to see how well the bases look on the tiles. Not a perfect match, but close enough for me.

Pretty happy with how the set came out, had fun painting them.
