Hi guys,

Im a upcomming player hoping to build a waaargh!

Me and my friend have decided to start with 1000 p each and then escelate.

I play miniature boardgames because its fun, but im also really competetive.

Can anybody help me out with a 1000 p competetive ork list, and perhaps also a 2000 p, so I Can build from one list to the next?

Download the app - "Warhammer 40,000: The app" on your phone. It should let you have 1 list for free. If you have "Warhammer +" you'll have a little more freedom with building lists.

eBay has good deals if you keep an eye out, maybe stop by your local game store and see if they have a discord or anything like that. Sometimes there will be that guy in the group that is constantly trading or selling his armies. Good place to snag some amazing deals.

The app will help a lot with understanding the points of units and what you may need.

Well I dont really have a feel for the army or the rules yet, so when I ask its so that I Can get started building and painting right away and have a “goal” for an example: I really like the bike guys, but have no idea if they have any place in a 1000k orc list, and the first things I want to build and paint is the stuff, that I Will Be playing with

1st: browse through the orks units on GWs site & make a list of the units/models you like from most to least.

2nd: read & understand the rules of the game (including the Leviathan mission card deck)

3rd: read & understand the ork units & army rules.

4th: now make a list with a good amount of what units from #1 you most liked that you think will give a good chance of victory from #2.
This is important because this is expensive & you really don't want to waste $/time on stuff you don't like. Believe me, victory is not worth it. It's better to learn to win with what you like & lose playing with what like than invest in stuff just to win.

On the list you posted? Definitely playable.
It's a bit light on ranged Anti-tank imo though.
?you will want to plan on how you'll destroy vehicles in this edition)
On the + side? Most games at the 1k lv will occur on Smaller boards - so your AT melee will get there quicker....
